Princess Louisa Marine Provincial Park

The day began in fog, the kind that settles soft and blue over still water, with boats resting quietly at the dock and their reflections barely moving on the surface. The trees along the shoreline faded into mist, and the hush of early morning held over Princess Louisa Marine Provincial Park.

As the day opened up, the mountains revealed themselves, steep granite walls streaked white with waterfalls pouring down through the green. The boats sat together at the dock below, dwarfed by the scale of the cliffs and the forest, the water dark and glassy in front of them.

ZYQ came along and wandered into the forest, finding a mossy-roofed shelter tucked among old trees, its shingles thick with green growth, quiet and half-hidden in the woods. Deeper in, the forest held a kind of stillness too, with moss climbing every trunk and stump, soft light filtering down through the canopy.

Down by the water, the reflections rippled and swirled, green and silver light bending in the current near the boats. Princess Lu III stayed anchored through it all, a steady base for the three nights, with food, drinks, and company offered freely to anyone passing through.

The day closed the way it had opened, with the water calm and the mountains holding their quiet watch, the fog long since lifted into clear mountain air, and the gathering settled into the stillness of this remarkable place.
