Sunset talk & drink at dock of Coal Harbour Marina

A wonderful evening, enjoying a drink on the aft deck, feeling the sea breeze, watching the sunset, and chatting about fascinating stories from the sea – one of life's most beautiful moments.

The day

The day began at dock C in Coal Harbour Marina, where JUN II sat waiting against the backdrop of the city's glass towers, the sky heavy with cloud but bright enough to promise a good evening ahead.

Out on the water, a glass was raised toward rocky cliffs and a calm blue sea, the kind of quiet toast that comes with good company and open views. Those gathered aboard JUN II settled onto the aft deck as the boat made its way along the coast, letting the sea breeze move through the evening and the stories start to flow.

The talk turned, as it does on the water, to tales from the sea itself — the kind of stories that only sound right when told aboard a boat, drink in hand, with nowhere else to be.

As the light faded, the marina glowed with its own quiet farewell: a rainbow arched over the docked boats near the Yahull sign, its reflection stretching across the still water. Lanterns came on along the pier, and the evening softened into golden light.

The day ended with the sun dropping low behind the masts, turning the water to amber as the boats rested quietly at their moorings — a calm, warm close to an evening spent on deck, among friends, with the sea close at hand.
