Happy Hour at Dock

The day began at Coal Harbour Marina, where the group gathered at the quay for a happy hour on the water. Bin Mou, JAY CHANG, Liting Li, Mark Zhang, Miya Zhang, and Sissi Chen came together to board, the six of them ready for an evening out on the gentle waters of Vancouver.

Once settled aboard, the group found their rhythm as the boat moved out onto the harbor. The teak deck caught the fading light of early evening, and a bottle was set to chill in a bucket on the deck, two glasses placed and waiting beside it. The sky above turned soft shades of pink and gold as the sun began to lower over the water, the sea taking on a quiet shimmer beneath the colors.

As the evening unfolded, the six friends enjoyed the stillness of the harbor around them, the city lights beginning to flicker in the distance while the boat drifted easily on calm water. The gathering had the easy feeling of good company and good timing, with the sunset providing a natural backdrop to the laughter and conversation shared on deck.

The day closed gently, with the glasses finally filled and raised against the last light of the sky. Coal Harbour Marina, calm and glowing in dusk, framed the end of the happy hour as the six made their way back toward the dock, the evening settling softly behind them.
