Yacht Meditation Retreat

The morning began at Coal Harbour, where guests gathered at Cardero's before making their way down to the water. Everyone arrived dressed in white, and welcome drinks were poured as the group boarded the yacht and found their places on deck.

As the boat eased out into the water, canapes and prosecco were passed around while Vancouver's shoreline slipped by. Guests settled into easy conversation, some finding seats at the bow, others gathering along the rails to take in the view of the forested coastline and the marina behind them.

Out on open water, the group came together in a circle on the deck for a guided meditation led by Sandy Pandher. She lit incense to open the session, then moved through sound work with singing bowls, the resonant tones carrying across the deck as guests sat quietly, hands resting, eyes closed in reflection. Children in the group sat close by, taking in the stillness alongside the adults.

Between moments of quiet, there was warmth and laughter — friends posed together at the bow in their white dresses, sun hats shading their eyes, the water glittering behind them. Portraits were taken throughout the deck, capturing smiles, bare feet on warm teak, and the easy comfort of the day.

As the cruise turned back toward the harbour, the group gathered once more on deck, taking in the last stretch of water before the skyline of Vancouver came back into view. The yacht returned to the marina among the rows of other boats, where guests disembarked slowly, some lingering dockside in conversation, hands pressed together in quiet thanks before the day came to its close.
