A birthday cruise that turns into a surprise party on a second boat under the Vancouver skyline.

The day
Alice's friends gathered on a Princess yacht in Coal Harbour, decked out in balloons and a Happy Birthday banner. They cruised past Science World and the downtown towers, snapping photos in the autumn sun. Then, without warning, a bright Tiki Boat pulled alongside and the party moved aboard for drinks, leis, music and dancing on the water. The group ended the day together at a waterfront restaurant as the sun went down over the marina.

How it went
- 3:00 PM PTCoal Harbour — At 3:00 PM, Alice and her guests board the Princess F49 in Coal Harbour. Mark is at the helm, and the birthday begins with a relaxed cruise through Vancouver’s waterfront.
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM PTCoal Harbour → English Bay → False Creek — The Princess cruises from Coal Harbour toward False Creek, giving everyone time to enjoy the city from the water before arriving near Science World.
- 3:30 PM PTXport Marina — At approximately 3:30 PM, Jeffrey and several team members board the Tiki Boat at Xport Marina. Alice and the birthday guests do not know that another boat is joining the celebration.
- 4:00 PM PTScience World / False Creek — At around 4:00 PM, the Princess and Tiki Boat meet in the water near Science World. This is the reveal: Alice and the guests see the Tiki Boat for the first time.
- 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM PTScience World / False Creek — From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Princess and Tiki Boat stay together near Science World. Guests move between the two boats, turning the celebration into one connected floating venue.
- 6:00 PM PTFalse Creek → Bayside False Creek — At 6:00 PM, all guests move onto the Tiki Boat. The Princess portion of the celebration ends, and the Tiki Boat becomes the final transport to dinner.
